The local shooting season is coming to an end soon, and here is a list
of some upcoming events for area clubs. Check the schedule on our
website for other shoots as part of the "South Texas Fun Shoots".

 

The Victoria Skeet and Trap Club (at the Victoria Regional Airport)
"Home of the South Texas Fun Shoot" and also "Registered Skeet and Trap
Shooting" & Wednesday night Pot Shoots from April thru August.

 

Stein's Gun Club (Darrell Hester residence- Mission Valley, Texas)
Wednesday night Pot Shoot on the 1st Wednesday of each month, NO Pot
Shoot on the 3rd Wednesday night

 

Dow Skeet and Trap Club (across the highway from the Seadrift Texas Dow
Chemical Plant) Tuesday or Thursday night Pot Shoots and "Open" Sunday
shoots throughout the year

 

Wednesday, July 25  V.S.&T.C. "Wednesday night Pot Shoot" (last one in
July)

 

Monday, July 30 V.S. & T.C. Monthly meeting 7:00 PM

 

Wednesday, August 1 Stein's G.C. "Wednesday night Pot Shoot" (last one

Wednesday, August 8 V.S.&T.C. "Wednesday night Pot Shoot" (1st shoot of the

Thursday, August 9 Dow S. & T.C. "Monthly Pot Shoot" (reg. doubles and
trap)

 

Wednesday, August 22 V.S.&T.C. "Wednesday night Pot Shoot" (last Wednesday
night pot shoot of the year)

 

Monday, August 27 V.S. & T.C. Monthly meeting 7:00 PM

 

Tuesday, Sept. 4 Dow S. & T.C. "Monthly Pot Shoot" (5-stand and skeet)

 

Saturday, Sept. 15  "September Open" registered skeet shoot (4x50 + doubles)

 

Saturday, Sept. 22 "September registered trap shoot"

 

Monday, Sept. 24 V.S. & T.C. Monthly meeting 7:00 PM

 

I look forwarding to seeing at lot of y'all out at one of these clubs for
some of these events. If you think you might be interested in getting into
registered skeet or trap shooting, come out to one of those events and check
it out. We can sign you up at one of these events and you can shoot with us
