The Victoria Skeet and Trap
Club "Home of the South
Texas Fun Shoot" and registered skeet and
trap shooting. On Saturday, March 1, 2008,
the Victoria Skeet and Trap Club held a "registered" trapshoot and
had 18 participants from Victoria, Kingsville, Corpus Christi and Rockport. We
shot almost 5000 targets. Attached is a summary of all of the scores. Also, a
big "thank you" to all of the shooters who jumped in to help with the
scoring and loading of the machines to make the shoot flow as smoothly as it
did. The weather was really nice for most of the day, but the winds did come up
later on and had an effect on the doubles, sounds like a good excuse anyway. We also signed up a new ATA
shooter, Kirk Barringer, and he ended up winning his class in doubles. Great
start to registered shooting. I have attached a "Shooters Trap Score
